Whitney Rencountre II


Whitney Rencountre II is Dakota/Lakota, and a member of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe. He is from Ft. Thompson, South Dakota. Whitney currently works as the Ateyapi Director at Rural America Initiatives, where he helps Native American students with school. He graduated from Black Hills State University, and taught American Indian Studies before accepting the position at Rural America Initiatives.

Whitney believes MOA is a vital part of our community's growth, and key to building positive relationships in our community.
